Real-time optimized wireless networked control system with cooperative network protocols

In this paper, we present a real-time optimized fuzzy proportional integral derivative (FPID)-controlled wireless networked system for high-torque direct current (DC) motor. The main challenge faced by such systems is the delay in control (WNCS). We employed powerful FPID controller tuned using particle swarm optimization (PSO) technique to compensate delay. tested on network TrueTime simulator with different parameters. results show that exhibits very stable response, compensating effectively. Increasing number of nodes negatively impacts system's performance, resulting higher overshoot, longer settling time, and rise time. Moreover, choice bandwidth share sampling time significantly affects stability response. use transmission protocol/internet protocol (TCP/IP) or user datagram (UDP) protocols Node MCU necessary transfer data from Arduino Microcontroller MATLAB, as MATLAB does not support serial communication. conclusion, study highlights valuable insights into performance proposed system, demonstrating need further improvements design algorithms achieve operation.
